Education: Alex Pisker L.Ac., MSOM, earned a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. He is nationally board certified in acupuncture and Chinese medicine and is licensed in the state of Oregon and Washington.
Alex has extensive training and experience in treating a wide range of conditions with the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxabustion, cupping, gua sha and shiatsu. He has also received advanced training in Acutonics; a sound healing system based on acupuncture theory that utilizes tuning forks to bring about mental and emotional wellness.
Alex's background prior to pursuing his training in acupuncture and Chinese medicine is in Buddhist psychology and meditation. He has engaged in advanced studies in the Buddhist science of mind at some of the most acclaimed institutions in the west and continues to study closely under the guidance of some of the world's most accomplished scholars and meditation masters.
